Q: What’s included in the package?

A: Your 2-night all-inclusive stay includes lodging, all meals (two dinners, two breakfasts, one lunch, snacks, and treats), For children the price includes full participation in all North Pole Experience activities, and 1:1 time with Santa. Suites will be lightly decorated for Christmas and stocked with hot cocoa and candy canes. Each person will also leave with a commemorative ornament.

Q: Should families bring gifts for Santa to give to their children?

A: Yes! Part of the experience is Santa presenting each child with a gift uniquely for them. Families are encouraged to provide a wrapped gift for their child (labeled clearly with their name) for Santa to present during their one-on-one visit.

Q: Why are kids and adults the same price?

A: Adults fees are attributed more to food, while the price for kids is attributed more to activates. It worked out to be roughly the same, so we thought we'd keep it simple!

Q: Are the activities indoors or outdoors?

A: There will be a combination of both! Some outdoor elements such as campfires, stargazing, and nature exploration will require you to dress warmly and bring your sense of adventure!

Q: Is this event suitable for all ages?

A: Yes! With some caveats... Our activities are geared toward kids in the 3 to early teen age groups. Participation for younger children will require direct assistance from parents. While designed with children in mind, older teens, parents and grandparents will find plenty to enjoy—from gourmet dining to peaceful forest walks and magical storytelling under the stars. Children under 18 months are free.

Q: What should we pack?

A: Warm layers, cozy winter accessories, comfortable boots and anything else you would bring if you were staying in a hotel.  We’ll provide all the activities and food.

Q: Can we extend our stay?

A: Absolutely. You’re welcome to add an extra night before or after the event (based on availability) to enjoy even more time at Backland. Give us a call and we can check availability or you can book online

Q: Will there be snow?

A: Snow is definitely possible, but not guaranteed. Early December in Northern Arizona often brings frosty mornings and crisp winter air. Whether snowy or clear, Backland’s natural beauty sets the perfect backdrop for Christmas magic.

Q: Is alcohol served?

A: Beer, wine and a signature cocktail menu will be available for adult guests during dinner hours for an extra charge.

Q: How do we book?

A: Reservations are limited. Book directly through the "Reserve Your Spot" link above or call 928-288-5441 to secure your family’s North Pole Backland Adventure.
